SAN JOSE, Calif. — A productivity application released this week allows users to arrange, label, color-code and prioritize the tasks they will continue not doing.
The application supports nested lists, recurring deadlines and a feature that moves incomplete items to the following day automatically, indefinitely.
“We wanted to reduce friction,” a company representative said. “Not the friction of doing things. The other one.”
Early users report spending between forty and ninety minutes configuring the system before beginning their first task, which they then postpone.
“It's the cleanest interface I've ever avoided work in,” one user said.
The premium plan, priced monthly, includes unlimited categories for postponed responsibilities and a weekly summary email that arrives on Sunday afternoon.
The summary is titled “Your Week in Review.”
The company said engagement metrics have exceeded expectations.
